The APPARTAMENTO LAGO Treviso is characterised by its innovative interiors, where the volumes interpenetrate without weighing down the design, in a play of solids and voids that experiment with lightness and extreme suspension. The design was aimed to foster personal wellness and relationships: Margherita and her family have always believed that keeping the doors of the house open makes the space more empathetic and convivial.
The interior design develops on two levels. The entrance, on the short side of the building, opens onto the guest room and a mini gym with a sauna. While the long side hosts the living room and kitchen, which looks out onto a vast, unfenced garden that ends at an irrigation ditch filled with limpid water.
The stars of the kitchen are the 36e8 kitchen, with glass counters that reflect the colours of the sky, and an Air table in white lacquer, which contributes to the sense of lightness and intangibility created by the furnishings with its glass legs and is perfect for welcoming unexpected guests at mealtimes. The room is completed with a N.O.W. pantry in colours that reflect the natural oak floor and a Wildwood cantilevered counter, where breakfast is accompanied by a stunning view. In the living room, a LagoLinea bookshelf, as slender as a drawn line, frames the room, where the Air sofa with a chaise longue reigns supreme, inviting relaxation looking out at nature through large windows.
The hanging stairs, which are so discrete that they almost blend into the room, lead to the bedrooms, designed as intimate spaces filled with warmth. In the centre of the main bedroom, an Air bed faces large windows and also enjoys a view of a relaxation corner featuring a Skin washbasin. While Tommaso’s room is a refuge for having fun and enjoying music, with a colourful Huggy armchair that acts as a perfect complement to his rock personality, and can always be turned into a comfortable extra bed for his friends.
