Palazzo ‘900

The property is located in the city of Padua, close to the centre near Porta Savonarola. It dates back to 1917 but has recently been renovated to accommodate eight two-room apartments (40-55 m2) and one three-room apartment (70 m2), for short-term, weekly and monthly stays.

The owners have drawn on their own travel experiences for the design, opting for an elegant look offering exceptional comfort, to make guests feel at home in a pleasant, cosy space. The apartments, both contemporary and functional, provide the perfect base for discovering the city, relaxing or remote working. Meticulously designed, they are fitted with everything guests could possibly need.

For this real estate project, LAGO’s brief was to maintain a sense of harmony between tradition and modernity, enhancing the existing architecture and historical features like the stone walls and high-beam ceilings.

In addition to creating unique style, LAGO’s modular, fully customisable furniture optimises the surface area, exploiting niches and narrow corners, particularly in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Guests can find modern bedsmodular wardrobes and washbasins with storage units, all exclusively designed.

In most of the spaces, the centuries-old Wildwood finish has been combined artfully with glass, guiding guests on an exciting journey of discovery through every part of the home.

Modular sofas, dining tables and occasional tables stand on clear tempered-glass supports, giving the living room, with its high ceilings and exposed beams, a light and airy feel. Carefully designed and equipped with everything guests might need, this is a place for recharging.

In the kitchen space, LAGO’s made-to-measure designs are high-tech, to meet every dimensional and functional requirement, always elegantly.

Antonio Barbiero, one of the owners of “Palazzo ‘900” said: “We wanted to create something unique that Padua didn’t already have, something to represent the elegant history of contemporary design. […] The whole space centres around hospitality, providing somewhere for groups of friends or colleagues travelling together to stay, but that still offers privacy.”
