A TEMPORARY “APPARTAMENTO LAGO” SUSPENDED ON ARTISSIMA

Allestito nella bolla dell’Oval Lingotto, per 33 ore e mezza sarà la casa-studio della direttrice Sarah Cosulich.
Set up in the bubble of Oval Lingotto, this will be the home and office of director Sarah Cosulich for thirty-three and a half hours.
We believe in the power of influences exchanged between different disciplines. That is why we have set up a temporary APPARTAMENTO LAGO inside the suspended space in the Oval Olympic Arena for the contemporary art show in Turin, Artissima.
Conceived to be the director’s home and office during the event, the TEMPORARY APPARTAMENTO LAGO @ ARTISSIMA is distinguished by its extreme lightness. The furnishings float in a glass bubble suspended above the event and the design combines with art, intercepting the contemporary and, above all, the future.
Daniele Lago has explained the decision to participate in Artissima with this TEMPORARY APPARTAMENTO LAGO as follows: ‘We are convinced of the importance of learning new things from differences, and this immense hunger has led us to an encounter with art, a discipline often associated with design but that is deep down – sometimes radically – different. And that is where we learn the new.’
