LAGO – a leading Italian interior design company – is continuing its collaboration with the fashion world. After being selected by Pitti Immagine to dress a few spaces at Pitti Uomo, Pitti Bimbo and Pitti Filati, from 19 to 20 June LAGO collaborated with Bubble London and furnished the Press Room of the children’s fashion trade show.
This project came after the launch of the catalogue/book Becoming Kids, dedicated to spaces for raising children and adolescents, designed by LAGO with an expert committee of educators, designers and philosophers. A more than year-long path, towards designing total quality spaces for raising little ones.
And the quality of spaces, together with that of relationships, was also at the centre of the Bubble London Press Room furnished by LAGO. A space that expressed the Italian company’s ‘LAGO INTERIOR LIFE’ philosophy, through which LAGO aims to create places that foster individual and collective wellness.
Journalists, bloggers and influencers were able to work around a LAGO COMMUNITY TABLE, a long Air Wildwood table made of old oak and supported by invisible glass legs, conceived by LAGO as a place for socialising, working, taking a break or just sharing a moment or two.
In the Italian company’s view, the table is a powerful ‘device’ for gathering and sharing, which can take on the features of an icon that is at once an object and a place. Real value emerges around the table, with the formation of empathetic business and personal relationships.
The theme of relationships is particularly dear to the Italian company, which has built up a vast community of people around itself; just think of its more than 700,000 Facebook contacts.
The Bubble London Press Room was completed by an Air bookshelf and a few Lastika chairs for taking a moment to relax.
With this new collaboration, LAGO confirms its knack for working with major companies even outside the furniture industry, contributing to the creation of spaces that enter into resonance with the people who spend time in them.
